What’s In Vs What’s Out Winter Fashion Trends 2024.

These are the winter fashion trends you will see in stores and around town. I love a good coat so I’m excited to share what to shop for this season.
Always wear what makes YOU feel comfortable. Not every trend is for everyone and that’s ok. Also, if something is no longer cool or trendy but you like it than keep wearing it. Everyone’s style is different and unique.
What’s Out: Fur Rim Coats. Instead Opt For Cropped Puffer

The fur lined coat was THE coat in the early 2000’s. I remember rocking them. In 2024, we have moved to classic style. The cropped version of the puffer is now in style. I have this coat and while it is a shorter coat it’s not cropped in the sense that it shows skin. That would be silly in 20 degree weather. This puffer is so warm and very great quality.
If you love that puffer but it’s out of your price point try this one. It’s a similar look for less.

What’s Out: Chambray Coats. Instead Wear Oversized Denim

Chambray is out and classic denim is in. Lots of denim on denim will be trendy this winter. Also known as the Canadian outfit, when you wear denim jeans with a denim top.
I love wearing denim jackets on those mild winter days with a pair of leggings or joggers.
I feel like you can never have too many denim jackets! They work well in other seasons with dresses and skirts.

It comes in lots of colors (I have the brown). It runs a little big but I like my coats to be slightly large so I can wear sweaters underneath.

The types of soft coats you want to focus on for 2024 are teddy coats or all faux fur coats. Fur lined is out of fashion. It’s all or nothing. I like teddy coats they are super soft and cozy. I have this coat in caramel. It fits true to size.
