The Center for Student Involvement in the Division of Student Affairs is re-imagining how best to serve Mizzou’s diverse student population. We are committed to designing exceptional co-curricular experiences to help all Mizzou students succeed on campus and after graduation.
As part of this process, we are seeking a collaborative professional in the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL). The program manager serves as an organizational resource for the FSL team. This full-time professional staff position will report directly to the Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life within the Division of Student Affairs.
Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Under the supervision of the director, assists in facilitating the daily administrative operations of the Office including by not limited to:
Data management including chapter/officer rosters, maintaining accurate contact information for chapter leadership, producing annual reports, and managing database access for campus partners.
Coordinating event logistics which may include space reservations, catering orders, equipment and supply and purchases.
Expense Management and Financial Reconciliation
Coordinating travel for speakers/program facilitators including coordinating travel
Builds positive rapport with students, campus partners, and external stakeholders.
Supervises part-time student employees.
Be a knowledgeable resource for members of the fraternity/sorority community.
Utilize effective written and verbal communication with the University community, external stakeholders, and senior leadership.
Participate in departmental and/or divisional meetings and committees to communicate the business of the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life
As with all positions, other duties and responsibilities are expected to enhance and maintain our departmental and Student Affairs mission.
Shift
40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. This position may require evening and weekend hours supporting activities and programs within the department. Occasionally division and campus projects may require additional hours outside of your normal schedule.
Minimum QualificationsA Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in a program coordinator role; experience with data base management systems; proficiency in Microsoft excel, Peoplesoft, and/or Salesforce.
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $18.50 - $24.04; paid hourly
Grade: GGS-08
