Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/18/24 Full Review Bob S We all know that fargo is based on the assumption that America loves seeing innocent people and bumbling law enforcement officers get shot up by brutal, but lovingly amusing, thugs -- and this assumption would be correct.This season starts out as a photocopy of the original movie and previous tv seasons, so much so that we know exactly when to hide under a chair, and when the main character is going to be amusingly innocent-sounding. Also, only in a desperate screen writer's mind would a mother come back to her home and family after escaping from kidnappers that she absolutely knows will return for her, with no protection but her own "scrappiness", thus putting everyone else in the line of fire. Just poor. I decided early that i'd seen it all before, and that the violence did not improve my life any, nor tell me anything i didn't already know.
